"Everyone judged everyone else on their appearance.people who were taller got better jobs...People killed each other on stuff like skin color."(referring to when people were ugly) This quote means to me that they learn a lot about the rusties and how they lived and how some were racist.
"It's the only way to make people equal"(becoming pretty)Its saying that if you make everyone look almost or completely alike no one will hate or judge each other.
