respond to the following quote from the chapter... what does it mean to you?
"Tally thought of the lesions in shay's brain. the tiny cancers or wounds or whatever they are that she did not even know she had. They were there somewhere changing her friends thoughts.warping her feeling, gnawing at the roots of who she was."
it means to me that tally is not talking to shay but a slightly different image of her friend.
